My name is Lillian Sanders and I am growing up in the small town of
Sebastopol, California. Sebastopol is a cozy town, often draped in
fog, where you can hardly go anywhere without being recognized by
someone vaguely familiar. Our main street stretches only 3 blocks
and contains numerous boutiques, a bustling café, and a large
bookstore.
I like to keep myself busy with school and extracurricular
activities, such as theater, attending the local community college,
dance classes, and going to events at my library. When I am not busy
with these things, I am usually curled up with my dogs, cracking
open an exciting new book or listening to a podcast. I also enjoy
taking long walks in my neighborhood and in the forests and beaches
around Sonoma County, usually with my runt rat terrier, Dusty.
I do not have specific plans for my life, though I know a few
things I certainly want to include. No matter where I end up, I want
to be surrounded by people who value and respect me without needing
me to be anything but myself. I want to be close to nature and spend
lots of time outdoors. I hope that whatever career I choose, I will
be helping the world become a better place.
